1Is this exhibition open to everyone?
MTE is strictly open to trade, professional and business visitors by invitation and business card registration only.
2Do I have to pay for this exhibition?
Admission is free for all visitors upon completion of the registration process online or at the exhibition site. Business cards are required for on-site registration process.
3How do I register to visit?

MTE’s visitor registration has gone totally digital. You can register online anytime from the time the registration portal opens until the end of the show.

Registration will open 3 (three) months before the event.

4What happen next after I registered online?

An acknowledgement email will be sent to your email address after submitting the registration form. Approved visitor will then get a confirmation email with designated QR code.

Please show/bring the printed QR code with you on the day of your visit, you will be entitled to receive your Visitor Badge through the registration counter.

You may need to check your SPAM/JUNK inbox, for the email confirmation.

If you have already pre-registered online and did not receive the confirmation email, please do notify us through email at [email protected].

5How do I register for Group Delegation Programme?

MTE welcome overseas and local groups from the GLCs to SMEs, buyer groups, and trade association. The organiser will reimburse for the cost of transportation for Group Visit of 40 and above people. Email [email protected] to find out more.

6How do I register for Student Group visit?
The academic group visit to the event is a great opportunity for the students to learn outside of the classroom to gather industry updates and learn the latest technology from the metalworking & automation industry. Please refer to the guidelines here.
7How do I get to the venue?

The Venue is strategically located at the centre of Setia Alam Township, easily accessed through the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).

The venue is also strategically located close to major industrial areas such as Klang, Shah Alam, Puchong, Subang Jaya, Sungai Buloh among a few and is away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, a mere 20 minutes from Subang Airport and just 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur City Centre and Malaysia's International Airport (KLIA).

8What are the opening hours for the exhibition? Opening Hours:

Wednesday – Friday, 24–26 May 2023 (10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

Saturday, 27 May 2023 (10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

9Is food allowed in the exhibition areas?

No outside food is allowed in the exhibition areas. However, there is a a Chinese Restaurant next to the Exhibition Hall A and a cafeteria located in Exhibition Hall B located at the main lobby area.

Alternatively you can walk or take a buggy shuttle to Setia City Mall for more food & beverage options.

10Is photography and video filming allowed in the exhibition?

Official show photographers and videographers will be taking photographs and filming videos throughout the four-day event.

Anyone attending MTE consents to such photography and filming without compensation and confirms that the organisers shall be entitled to use such photographs and videos, which may include photographs and videos of visitors, for the purpose of promotional and marketing activities in future, for exploitation in any and all media, without liability.

No other photography or filming will be permitted at the event without the prior written approval of the organisers.

11What should I take note when I am in the exhibition areas?

Anyone attending the event must not take part in any canvassing, leafleting, demonstraitons, objectionable behavior or wear offensive apparel or be involved in any activity which may disrupt the exhibition.
